Pine Knoll Shores

We had a good 4th of July at the beach. The weather was nice and we spent some time in the pool, walking in the sand and playing around in the ocean. We went to Beaufort and saw a local parade and went down to Emerald Isle and saw some fireworks too. Click on the thumbnail below to see some of our pictures from our adventures.

We had a storm move up along the coast one night. I set up my Canon S5IS with CHDK firmware and attempted to catch some lightning strikes over the ocean. Click the next thumbnail to view what I captured.
